GREECE
I have chosen Greece as the first stop on our adventure because it is probably my favorite country of the ones I have been able to visit. This is not just because it is so beautiful nor because it is so rich in history. It is because of the people who are the friendliest, kindest group of people that I have ever had the good fortune to know.

ATHENS
The Acropolis of Athens is probably the cities best know tourist site. This great rock, whose name means 'upper city', was the focal point of Athenian life from earliest times. Temples and public buildings were here for generations before the Golden Age of Classical Greece saw the Acropolis crowned by the buildings whose ruins survive today.
Syntagma Square is located in the heart of Athens. At its top is located the Parliament building, in front of which the Changing of the Guards takes place at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
