 Thought the blooms of this canna are not dense, they are very bright. It is very prolific and spreads rapidly by root division.  The seeds are sterile, and the roots are medium size.  Richard Wallace is sometimes mistakenly identified as King Midas.  The only real difference in the two cannas is that the King Midas does not produce any seeds at all.
